What to Expect
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to check in. It is best to not drink any caffeine 6 hours before floating to allow your body to fully relax. Do not shave on the morning of your float to avoid any stinging from the salt. You will have a private room to shower prior to entering your float. Put in ear plugs if you wish. There is a neck pillow if you find that more comfortable. At the end of your float your light will come back on and a soft voice telling you know that float is over. Shower, dress and float through the rest of your day! You do not need to bring anything with you. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion will all be provided to you. Every float experience is different. Keep an open mind for this individual experience. Be present. Be you. Be here now.
Make sure you are hydrated before entering the sauna. There will be water available for you to take in with you as well. Upon arrive you will receive a tote bag for your belongings as well as a towel, sarong or bathrobe if needed. Dress in minimal clothing. This is a communal sauna that seats three, so clothing is required. We recommend taking a shower after your sauna to rinse off all toxins that you have just released from your body. Bring a book, listen to music, or bring a friend. Relax and enjoy!
